Hampshire Hawks in Global Super League 2024 | Squad, Fixtures & Schedule

Hampshire Hawks have officially confirmed their participation in the inaugural Global Super League (GSL) set to take place in Guyana.

The tournament will feature four other teams including Guyana Amazon Warriors (West Indies), Rangpur Riders (Bangladesh), Victoria (Australia), and Lahore Qalandars (Pakistan).

Giles White, Hampshire’s Director of Men’s Cricket, expressed enthusiasm for the event, highlighting Guyana’s commitment to becoming a global sporting hub through this new T20 franchise league.

White shared that the players look forward to showcasing their skills in an international setting, noting that the GSL marks an innovative step for cricket as a truly global sport.

Bowling coach Graeme Welch will lead Hampshire in Guyana, while head coach Adi Birrell is with the squad in South Africa.

Each team will compete in four group-stage matches from November 26 to December 6, with the final scheduled for December 6. The schedule of GSL 2024 has been announced by GSL officials.
