Anchoring the squad is a core group of Guyanese players who are integral to the Amazon Warriors’ identity. Local favorites Romario Shepherd, Shimron Hetmyer, and Keemo Paul, all well-known West Indies players, will don the Amazon Warriors colors and deliver hometown pride.
Additionally, West Indies ODI captain Shai Hope and all-rounder Roston Chase add depth to the lineup, promising a well-rounded squad for the GSL.
After their CPL success, the Amazon Warriors are eager to maintain their winning momentum, especially with the support of their home crowd at the Guyana National Stadium in Providence.
Competing against Hampshire Hawks, Lahore Qalandars, Rangpur Riders, and Victoria, the Warriors will battle it out in 11 matches for a substantial USD 1 million prize fund. Fans can look forward to a showcase of top-tier T20 cricket as the Warriors aim to establish themselves as global contenders.
